How PropValue collects, uses and protects personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia).

This Privacy Policy explains how PropValue ("we", "us") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data when you use our website and the PropValue property valuation system, in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia) ("PDPA").

Personal data we collect

  • Account details: name, email address, phone number, company name and role of users.
  • Enquiries: details you send us through our forms, email or WhatsApp.
  • Customer records: information our customers enter into PropValue about their own clients, cases and properties. Our customers decide what they enter and remain responsible for it; we process it on their behalf.
  • Billing: subscription and invoice details. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store full card numbers.
  • Usage data: log and device information needed to run, secure and improve the service.

How we use personal data

To provide and support the service, create and manage accounts, process payments, reply to enquiries, send service and security notices, improve PropValue, and meet legal obligations. We send marketing messages only where you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.

Disclosure

We share personal data only with service providers who help us run PropValue (such as hosting, email delivery, payment processing and AI processing for features you choose to use), under confidentiality obligations, or where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.

Security and retention

We protect personal data with access controls, encryption in transit and regular backups. We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you may request access to, and correction of, your personal data, and you may limit its processing. Contact us using the details below.
